Muna

Munadiannur, commonly known as Muna, is a visual artist based in Jakarta. His work uniquely blends fresh ideas, experiences, anxieties, goals, and deep meanings into strong, concept-driven artwork. His background from a Qur'anic boarding school provided him with a foundation in calligraphy and lettering, instilling in him patience, precision, beauty, and the strict rules of Islamic calligraphy. Further shaping his artistic identity, Muna graduated from the Jakarta Institute of the Arts, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, where he developed new characteristics, embracing urban art and the concept of art as an industry.
